Pointing plans to introduce a new range of small antennas for large-scale IoT and M2M deployments in 2018.
The company will also improve its existing antenna products by enhancing their performance, bandwidth, and expanding on the products available within the existing ranges.
These new products will build on the company’s existing antenna offerings, which include the MIMO-1 and the WLAN antennas launched in 2017.
The MIMO-1 antenna range is a 5-in-1 vehicle-mounted antenna which supports 2x LTE, 2x Wi-Fi, and a GPS.
The antenna is designed to include performance and environmental considerations, making it suitable for rugged applications such as commercial busses, emergency vehicles, and mining trucks.
The WLAN antennas are designed for commercial and industrial Wi-Fi applications, where normal Wi-Fi antennas are not suitable.
These dual-band Wi-Fi antennas are typically used in cluttered RF environments, but also provide superior RF connectivity to school, industrial, and corporate applications where connection stability is important.
