FNB teasing new fixed LTE broadband service

FNB has announced a new fixed LTE service to replace the uncapped ADSL service it is discontinuing.

FNB has informed its uncapped ADSL subscribers their discounts and services will soon be cancelled.

Discounts on FNB?s uncapped ADSL services will stop on 1 July, and the accounts will be discontinued on 1 August.

Clients can choose to migrate their ADSL service to AlwaysOn, or take up a new LTE deal.

FNB said its fixed LTE offer will be available soon, and that subscribers can earn up to 40% of their total SIM spend back in eBucks.

This forms part of the changes to the eBucks rewards system.

Customers who take up its fixed LTE service will also receive a free router worth R2,500.

FNB fixed LTE: Cell C or iBurst?

FNB is yet to confirm whether its LTE service will be based on its existing FNB Mobile services with Cell C, or its uncapped LTE trial with iBurst.
